When I first took it out of the box, I was impressed by the build quality. It looks like it could be used in a professional setting. It is heavy and solid. When it is running you can feel the warmth of the light on your face. There is a timer that you can set for the number of minutes that you prefer. The company says 30 minutes is good, but I often do shorter sessions when I have a moment. This light has a stand so that you can use it on a table and sit in front of it. It also has a hook so that you could hang it from the wall . As for me I sometimes sit in bed with it and hold it in my lap while I listen to a book. The other day, when I was visiting friends, one of them told me that my skin was glowing. He actually used the word glowing and it’s funny but I also read that in another review! I can’t be sure what it’s doing, but it really makes me feel good. I may have to buy a larger one.
